I'm often called Big AL !! It's an officially appointed nickname by few old friends and always seems to come up as a nickname with new friends!
When did you last cry?
I don't cry often to be honest, once or twice a year is my average however I recently took a trip to Costa Rica for a Women's Qigong training program and the moment I arrived in the Jungle I couldn't stop crying. I cried at least 4 times a day for the first week. I believe my heart was just blown open, the views were beautiful, the sounds of the jungle were incredible and being surrounded by like minded women all together with the same purpose was so powerfully moving!
Donuts donuts and more donuts. I love a good donut, they have to be something extra special so I will travel for a gourmet donut and I have planned days around how I will get to a good donut. :)
What’s your favourite thing about Yoga Village?
My absolute favourite thing about Yoga Village is the sense of community, especially with the students! Everyone is welcoming and friendly, caring and respectful and genuinely interested in each other. <3
What is your most treasured memory?
Going for long forest walks and exploring with my family, aunts, uncles, cousins, grandparents in England as a child! It was always magical and invigorating.
Favourite Qi Gong Pose?
Feeling Energy and abundance within, we bring that Qi out and begin to expand it, surrounding our body, mind and spirit and eventually growing the Qi to reach out to the world around us as we expand our healing energy to others.
Experience Qi Gong with Ali on Tuesdays at 8pm.
